VI is the only college in the nation to place in all three varsity teams in the top five at the 2003, 2004, and 2005, 2006, and 2007 in IHSA, IDA, and A NRC Nationals.
An enthusiastic student, graduating with a double major in Business Management and Business Marketing, Powers kept her options broad for future endeavors. Her plan was to pursue the world of business until she was offered to coach the Emory University’s Equestrian Team.
